When you hear, “Brother Nwachukwu,” you know it’s Prinx Emmanuel on the beat.

According to Brother Nwachukwu is a studio album by Prinx Emmanuel, a great Nigerian afro-gospel singer and songwriter. The project, published in 2025, consists of 12 praise and worship tracks and is another great addition to his worship discography. Prinx Emmanuel describes this album as Scripture in melody, Prophecy in rhythm, and Revelation in sound.

The album opens with “Agaracha”. The word can be translated to mean, “the wanderer will always return home”. It creatively tells the story of the prodigal son. It alludes to every open arm of our good Father, and his reckless, unconditional love towards us. It then goes on to “Amayanabo” a track that eulogizes God as King and the creator/ owner of the universe. It also reflects on the sovereignty and goodness of God.

Then, “Ebeni” which features Greatman Takit, speaks of God as our Ebenezer, our ever-present help and provider.

After this, we are pulled into the beautiful rhythm of “El Roi” - The God who sees. It emphasizes that God is the one who sees all; the end from the beginning, the deepest secrets of man. He sees all, and He knows all. He knew us and all things even before the foundations of the earth were laid.

“My Darling” is a love letter from God to us, his Children. It is a reminder that God is always for us. Even amid chaos, we can rest assured that he is working things out for us. After all, he sent his son to die, right? So, we can be assured that he would freely give us all things.

“One Touch” speaks of the miraculous hand of God. From the wedding at Cana to raising Lazarus from the dead, to the matters that concern our day-to-day life, there is proof that there is absolutely nothing he cannot do with just one touch or one word.

“Onyeoma” featuring Victor Thompson, “Take it down”, and “Thanks”, are songs of thanksgiving and adoration to God.

“Your Way” speaks of the omnipresence and omniscience of God. It emphasizes the magnificence of God.

The Album closes out with “Zoe” a track that speaks of the God Life that we carry as Children of God. As a result of the Holy Ghost in us, we live extraordinary, supernatural lives. It is a reminder that we are truly more than conquerors. It is not just “Christianese”. It is our reality in Christ. More than a conqueror is not just a ‘guy name.’

It is evident that the songs on the album collectively tell a story of the sovereignty, goodness, love, and magnificence of God. It is more than just another work of art.

It is a journey, a testimony of the God we serve and the life that we now live through him. It is the Gospel According to Brother Nwachukwu, and if you haven’t streamed it yet? You are sleeping on a bicycle!
