Samuel 'CalledOut Music' Nwachukwu is a British music producer, MOBO award winner, singer/songwriter and multi instrumentalist, He made his debut in 2016 with the song 'working on me'.

'Blues&Roses' is his seventh body of work which comprises of four EP's and three albums. According to him, 'Blues&Roses' is a project with different genres, but one consistent message on it which is God's love,

THE STARTER

CalledOut Music starts ' Blues & Roses' with the first and only collaboration on the song 'Love me like Jesus' featuring london rapper Melvillous. on a groovy beat comprising of guitar riffs and drums, they describe the exactitude of the showering love of God. Melivillous furthers the conversation by giving a bakstory to what a life without God feels like.

This next song 'Holding On' has a unique propostion to it. If a sped up version can be pushed on Tik Tok, it has capacities to rack in traction owing to the very commercialised UK sound, this time with a better subject matter; it is the efficaciousness of God's loving nature, a perfect follow up to the first track.

CalledOut Music explores friction in our love walk this time, for all can not always be rosy.

'Take Over' chronicles different dynmaics of our love walk: spiritual warfare, the tug of war we sometimes experience, the zest to burn for God; to be purified by him and that feeling of walking closely with him, the propensity to stray away. But still be met with an outstretched arm as in the case of the prodigal son returning back home.

A lot of young people can attest to having been in that valley of indecision in their lives; not knowing what next steps should be taken. CalledOut seeks to reassure very one listening to 'Something greater' that there is indeed something (someone) greater than our current state of instability. And that hope is enough to see us throigh to an expected end.

CalledOut Music saves the best for the last with 'Worst days'. a mellow ballad that details the occassional occurence of withdrawal ad spiritual apathy a lot of young Christians have felt at least once in their walk, he does this while reconciling with the fact that God's love is is high, wide and deep enough to see us through it all.

FINAL THOUGHTS

What makes Blue&Roses a laudable body of work is experimenatation. There seems to be a conscious effort from CalledOut Music at detatching from every form of constraints musically. hopefully, there is a continuity in the subsequent projects.
